What's New with C.C.A.S.
On Tues. and Thurs. there will be no class openings until 6:00pm- 8:00pm.
Chasity Lewallen owner of C.C.A.S has been asked to teach during the day at G.L.A Academy of Plano Texas. Great Lakes Academy, is an accredited non-profit private school located in Plano, Texas that offers K-12th grade students with average to above-average intelligence, diagnosed with various Learning Differences, Asperger’s Syndrome, ADD or AD/HD a positive school experience.
Great Lakes Academy believes that nurturing each student's intellectual, emotional and social life must be emphasized in the context of reasonable personal expectations, a positive environment and a strong sense of community.
Great Lakes Academy offers:
Low student/teacher ratio
Caring, experienced, well trained staff
Individualized instruction
Multi-sensory teaching methods
Self-contained classrooms (1st through 8th grade)
Social skills classes
Art & Physical Education
TEKS based curriculum
This is an awesome opportunity for me (Chasity L.) I am so pleased to teach and pass on the skills I have learned to students I have much in common with...you see, I too was dubed as a learning disabled student. For many years I struggled with Dyslexia and until my senior year in High School I had not been formally diagnosed with it....I was told I was "Slow"....
